Your Photographer… Heather

Heather comes from a background of fine art and design. Now photography is her fine art of choice. Heather’s work ranges from the very funky to the classic glamour portraits. Some of her “edgier” work has been shown and has received top awards in numerous galleries in the San Diego area as well as having been shown worldwide. Heather has been shooting Boudoir style images and vintage Pin-up since 1989.

Each session at Shadow Boudoir is specially designed by our all-female staff to inspire confidence in our clients so that her experience in front of the camera will be one she remembers forever. We work with you before your session to help you find the “Look” for your very personal, and individual look. Shadowcatcher Boudoir has a private studio located in Escondido.

At your session one of our fabulous assistants. will also be on hand to help guide you through your session. All of our girls have done these sessions, so they know exactly how it feels to be on the other side of the camera! Your session will start with a glass of champagne, if you like, while you and Heather go over the costume choices you’ve brought with you and show you some of the fun props and accessories that we have in the studio for you to add to your look. Heather will then work with you to make feel comfortable in front of the camera directing you all the way with some amazing poses, while you let the glamour shine! By the time you’re finished, you’ll be feeling like a supermodel.

Shadow Boudoir offers a complete selection of prints, posters, canvases, custom designed albums, and calendars to showcase your favorite images. We also offer ladies night out parties at the studio, along with the popular Vintage Pinup Party where our staff will help transform you into a truly vintage retro pinup kitten. Our studio “Closet” is filled with some amazing hand selected lingerie pieces that we are always happy to share.
